Call for Parade Entries – Join the Fun!
The Shingletown Founders Day Parade and Sawdust Festival is back on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, and the Shingletown Library is looking for enthusiastic locals to be part of this hometown tradition!
Parade kicks off at 11 AM, and entries of all kinds are welcome—from ATVs, tractors, and collector cars to horses, bicycles, motorcycles, or even a good pair of boots. Whether it’s vintage, flashy, funny, or full of hometown pride—if it rolls, rides, or walks, it belongs in the parade.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries, so bring the creativity, the flair, and the community spirit.
All proceeds support the Shingletown Library’s annual Founder’s Day fundraiser—making this event not just fun, but meaningful too.
